Erma Sue Harr Wagner

Erma Sue Harr Wagner, 85 of Blountville, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 23, 2024 after a brief illness. Sue was born to Earl C. and Ella C. Harr on December 25th, 1938 in Bristol, TN. Sue was a graduate of Blountville High School and retired from Eastman Chemical. She was a devoted and loving mother to Phillip and Kevin. She was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed caring for babies in the nursery at church. Sue embraced life with humor, a spirit of kindness and generosity, and a deep devotion to her faith and family.

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Fred L. Wagner and a daughter, Angela; her parents; and brothers, Clarence, Willard, Herman, Dale and Jerry Harr. 

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Phillip Wagner and wife Debra and Kevin Wagner and wife June; grandchildren, Andrew (Andrea), Matthew (Theresa), Michael (Emily), Jason, and Holly; great grandchildren, Caroline and Joseph Wagner; sisters, Lucille Winegar and Ann Mays; brother, Wayne Harr; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Tom Schoeneck officiating.

Burial will follow at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Blountville.
