Eva H. Jaynes

Eva H. Jaynes, 55, of Kingsport passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a member of Colonial Heights Christian Church and was previously employed with Eastman Chemical Company. Eva was a graduate of East Tennessee State University.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Lee Hampton.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Jaynes of Kingsport; father, Roy E. Hampton of Johnson City, TN.; two sisters, Mary Fern Phillippe and husband, Tim of St. Charles, MO.; Rebecca Plumer of Elizabethton, TN.; two brothers, Paul Hampton and wife, Jayne of Unicoi, TN., David Hampton and wife, Mary Ann of Highland Falls, NY.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Tim Ross, minister of Hopwood Christian Church officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Monte Vista Memorial Gardens.
