Evelyn McCulley

Evelyn McCulley, 89, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. A native of Bulls Gap, TN, she had resided in Kingsport most of her life. She attended Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church. Evelyn loved to garden and tending her irises. She was an amazing cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Howard McCulley; daughter, Sherry McCulley; 3 brothers, Clyde, Clarence and Francis McFarland; and sister, Mary Lou McFarland.

Evelyn is survived by two sons, John McCulley, and David McCulley and wife, Sheila; grandchildren, Susan Webb and husband, Aaron, Melissa Ruffo and husband, Bryan, and Rebecca Sandoval and husband, Jorge; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Phil Goins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee, 1020 Jericho Dr., Kingsport, TN 37663.
