Franklin D. Rector

Franklin D. Rector, 78, Kingsport, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 25, 1935. Frank retired from Sheboygan Paint Company after 15 years of service and was an avid golfer. He attended Homeland Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky H. Rector.

Frank is survived by his son, Del Rector and wife, Trina; sisters, Barbara Black and Jerry Chambliss, and brother, Pete Rector and wife Anne; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Norma Scrudders.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5-7:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Home and Gardens in Birmingham, Alabama.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens.
