Fred Howard Meade
Fred Howard Meade, 81, of Kingsport, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2007.
He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him. Fred served overseas in the U. S. Army during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Virginia Lee Meade; his parents, James Meade and Lora Fleenor; two brothers, Jeff Meade and Archie Meade; and one sister, Shirley Jenkins.
Surviving are one son, Jeffrey Meade and wife, Ruthie; one sister, Francis Wynne; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens in Blountville. Rev. Charles Roberts will officiate.
