Freddie L. Shoun

Freddie L. Shoun, 89, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully Monday morning, February 2, 2026 at NHC after a prolonged illness. Freddie was born and lived in Washington County, TN and graduated from Science Hill High School. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served more than 20 years in the National Guard in Johnson City. Freddie retired from Tennessee Eastman Company after 40 years of employment. He was an avid UT Vols fan and talked about sports with anyone. Freddie will be missed by many, especially by his loving niece, Linda and sister-in-law, Janette of Nashville.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Norma Lee Shoun.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Ryan Shaffer officiating.
