Gary M. Clipse

Gary M. Clipse, 76, of Kingsport, went to be reunited with his wife and son in their heavenly home on November 22, 2022. He was a sports enthusiast who loved both golf and bowling. Gary enjoyed joy rides on his motorcycle in the mountains. He was a graduate of Holston High School.

Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bill and Betty Clipse; wife, Lynn Moody Clipse; son, Michael Clipse; brothers, Laney and Tony Clipse.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah and husband Doc LeGassie; grandchildren, Paul Depee, Adrian, Trevor, and Savanna LeGassie; great-grandchildren, Melody and Kaiden Depee; brothers, Fred and Wayne “Jack”; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Friday, November 25, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at East Tennessee Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Walter Wagner officiating. Graveside services will be conducted following at East Tennessee Cemetery.
