George Boyd

George Boyd, 88, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Boyd.

George is survived by his step-daughter, Laura Hamilton; three step-sons, Butch Rhoton and wife Becky, Skip Rhoton and wife Terry, and Howard Hamilton and wife Chandria; and four step-grandchildren, Tyler and Max Rhoton, Dylan and Courtney Wilcox.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
