George "Del" Christian

George “Del” Christian, 59, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 20, 2024. He was a life-long resident of Kingsport, and graduate of Sullivan North High School, class of 1983. Del enjoyed spending time with his son, Alex, fishing, camping and also spending time with his family and friends. He was well known as a jokester and prankster, always looking for the “fun” in life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Christian.

Survivors include his son, Alex Christian and wife, Alexis; grandchildren, Amelia and Osiris; mother, Carolyn Greer; sister, Angela Adele and husband, Alan; brother, David Christian and wife, Teresa; niece Brianne Burleson and husband, Aaron; and life-long friend/brother, Mark Taylor.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Christian Bend Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
