George Leo Krinsky, age 83, of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at his home. George was born in Goffstown, New Hampshire, to the late Steven Peter and Fabiola Champagne Krinsky. He resided in Monroe, New York for 40 years. George worked for Ford as an assembly line technician for 20 years, then changed careers and worked for Monroe-Woodbury Central School District for another 20 years.
George had a love for the open road; he rode street bikes, dirt bikes and motorcycles. He greatly enjoyed watching the races at Unadilla in New York and was a huge New York Giants fan. George was a member of the Orange County New York Hog Motorcycle Club. He was also a member of the Mt. Carmel Senior Center, along with his wife, Arlene.
He was a loving husband and wonderful father. His presence will be greatly missed by his friends, family and loved ones.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Steven Peter and Fabiola Champagne Krinsky; brother, Steve Krinsky; sister, Lorraine Bowers; and in-laws, George and Betty Linderman.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Arlene Krinsky; son, Michael Keith Krinsky; daughter, Saralyn Krinsky; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Krinsky; granddaughter, Natalie Grace Krinsky; sibling, Margaret Sole (Don); special nephew, Steve Bowers (Cindy); several family members on his wife’s side; several nieces and nephews; and long-time friends, Frank Anderson, and Johnny and Barbara Koch; and several other close friends.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their care and kindness.
The family will receive friends from 1pm – 2pm on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 2pm.
