Hazel B. Cross
Hazel B. Cross, 85, a lifelong resident of Kingsport, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 13, 2010 at Holston Manor following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred F. Cross; two sons, Earl Steve Cross and Fred F. "Jake" Cross, Jr.; and mother, Pearl Conkin Bragg.
Surviving are her daughter, Joan Elizabeth Cross; son, Charles Cross and wife, Marvella; sister, Clara Jean Bragg; special cousin, Ella Ward; and several other cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Holston Manor for all the care they have given Hazel.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mullins Cemetery with Rev. Don Muncie officiating. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
