Helen Elaine Moody Chase
Helen Elaine Moody Chase, 81, of the Sullivan Gardens community, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Wexford House.
Helen was a homemaker most of her life but had worked several places, including Hardees and Arby's near Vernon Heights as a greeter. She attended Reservoir Road Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Guy S. Chase in 1995; parents J.D. and Charmie Moody; sister Margaret Shipley; and brothers Denzil Moody and Harry Moody.
Survivors include her son, Randall Chase and wife, Pennie; and grandchildren, Katie and Adam Chase.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Monday, April 25, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will begin at 7 pm with Pastor Keith Smith officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Reservoir Road Baptist Church, 1817 Seaver Rd, Kingsport, TN 37660.
