Hubert Earl Crawford

Hubert Earl Crawford, 75, Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County. Hubert served in the Marines and was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Callie Bowman Crawford; brothers, James Wesley, Jr., John, Carl and Herbert; and sisters, Mary Light Edith Crawford and Louise Simpson.

Hubert is survived by his wife, Zella Mullins Crawford; daughter, Michelle (Eddie) Allen; two sons, Duane Crawford and Eric (Lynn) Crawford; three grandchildren, Takoda and Jacob Crawford, and Brian Allen; two great-grandchildren, Callie and Shelby Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Lewis Meade officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Mullins Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Posts 3/265.

Pallbearers will be Roger Haney, Wiley Sullins, Ron Gouge, Leonard Crawford, Wayne Simpson and Kerry Trivette.
