Hugh Kyle Potts

Hugh Kyle Potts, 71, of Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 9:30am. Kyle was born and raised in Virginia. For the most part, Kyle lived a simple life. He was always out in the woods hunting or messing around with his pigs.

Kyle had a comedic attitude about him and could always make you laugh. He was straightforward and to the point, if he knew the answer, he would tell you. Kyle was a loving person that cared for everyone and will be remembered as such.

Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Potts; siblings, Robert Potts (Jr.), Lester Potts, Buster Potts, Johnny Potts, Mary Kate Potts, Ruth Mullins; nephew, Cecil David Mullins; and niece, Nancy Ann Perry.

Survivors include his nieces, Christine Brinkley, Nancy Perry, Sally Hunley; nephew, Robert Ray Mullins; and many great nieces and great nephews.
