Iva Sexton

Iva Sexton, 87, of Mt. Carmel, passed away after a long illness on Sunday morning, February 25, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sexton; parents, Chad and Grace Middleton; granddaughter, Sharetta Sexton; sisters, Jo Williams, Melva Coffman and Martha Stanton; and brother, Cletus Middleton.

Iva is survived by daughters, Carol Ketron (Ron), Pam Sexton, and Peggy Castle (Daryl); son, David Sexton; brother, Fred Middleton, Sr.; grandchildren, Laura Kilby, Landon Sexton, Wendie Derrick, Rebecca Kern, Mitchell Way and Victoria Sexton, Kendra Wade, Kipper Ketron, and Jennifer Harmon; great-grandchildren, Conner and Mckenna Sexton, Alex Douyotas; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor David Salley officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
