Jackie Lee Todd, 84, of Kingsport, passed away on June 21, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Bloomingdale on February 23, 1942, Jackie was truly a lifelong resident of this community. He dedicated more than 35 years of service to Eastman as an Instrument Analyst, earning the respect of coworkers through his strong work ethic, humility, and unwavering loyalty. A faithful member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church, he was a man of simple pleasures and deep convictions. He loved spending time at the beach with his family, and certainly never missed an opportunity to share a laugh with those around him. A self-proclaimed “mama’s boy” and the youngest of nine children, Jackie carried with him the values of kindness, generosity, and devotion that shaped his life. Above all else, Jackie loved his family and found his greatest joy in being with them. Those who knew him will long remember his warm spirit, quick wit, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Todd; three sisters; and four brothers.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Sandra Todd; son, Chris Todd and wife, Katrina; granddaughter, Krista Todd; step-granddaughter, Keely Reed; step-grandson, Jesse Reed and wife, Taylor and their children, Parker and Everleigh Reed; brother, Ray Todd; along with several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Melissa Malcom and Pastor Ray Amos officiating. Those who have mobility issues, please feel free to utilize the back entrance of the church.
Though Jackie will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
