James "Lynn" Overbey

James “Lynn” Overbey, age 67 of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his home after a brief illness.

Lynn was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Germany. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, James “Buddy” and Betty Overbey; grandparents, Paul and Ethel Stitt.  He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Overbey; grandsons, Steven and Blaine Cowan; sister, Janie Marshall (Onnie); niece, Denise Burton (Mike); nephew, Ronnie Marshall; great nephews, Andrew and Matthew Burton; great niece, Lillie Marshall; great-great niece, Destiny Burton; and several cousins.
