James Robinette

Don Robinette, 84, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Don was born and raised in Hawkins County and had resided in Fall Branch since 2006. He was the first to bring seamless guttering to the area. Don owned and operated Don's Guttering and Excavating. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Murrel Robinette; parents, G.R. "Doc" and Elva Robinette; sister, Mildred Scalf.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Robinette and wife Carol; two step-grandchildren, Kasey Ferguson and Justin Moody; brother, Harold Robinette and wife Patricia; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Jeff Strong officiating.

Graveside service will be conducted Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sullivan Baptist Church Building Fund, 4152 Maplewood St., Kingsport, TN 37660
