Janice E. Greer
Janice E. Greer, 51, of the Beech Creek Community, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 23, 2011 following a lengthy illness.
She was a member of Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ. Jan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband John Greer; daughter Echo Penley; four sons, Phillip Greer, Josh Greer and wife, Michelle, Willie Greer and fiancée, Tina Walters, and Jeremiah Greer; eight grandchildren, Cody, ShyAnn, Brianna, Catelyn, Harley, William, Emily, and Jonathan; mother Aretha Cato; and special friend Steve Goins.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ. Services will follow at 7 pm with Brother Donny Reagan officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Keith McGaha, Johnny Light, Phil Goulds, Chris Hamilton, Kaleb Morelock, Mark Johnston, Rick Matthews, Steve Goins, and Steven Hicks.
