J.B. Richards
J.B. Richards, 80, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012. He loved to teach, was a world traveler and was a man of strong opinions.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Fellers Richards; parents, Harrison and Sallie Richards; and siblings, Flora, Mary, Catherine, Dot and Burl.
J.B. is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5th from 5:30-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Will Shewey officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, November 6th at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Honorary pallbearers will be Denzil Richards, David Richards, Damon Richards, Tommy Carter, Ted Tipton, Perry Dalton and Glen Dalton.
