Jim Ashton

Jim Ashton, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Bristol Christian Care Center.  He was a proud Air Force Veteran and had recently retired as a cattle farmer and pool builder. Jim enjoyed playing pool, guns, collectibles and camping in their RV.

Surviving is his wife of 34 years, Brenda; her 2 daughters, Marla and Meredith and their husbands; and 2 very special granddaughters, Sydney and Karson. He is also survived by his brother, Bob, his 2 children, Brad and Randa; several grandchildren; and good friend, Wayne Morrison.

To celebrate his life, the family would like to invite you to the visitation from 6-8:00 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.   The funeral home is located at exit 50 off of interstate 81.

A private final service will be held at a later date.
