Joel Fish

Joel Fish, 78, of Johnson City went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at his home. He was born in Sullivan County, resided in Gray for most of his life. Joel was retired from Eastman and was a veteran, serving in the US Army and then in the US Air National Guard, retiring after 21 years of service. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Methodist Church where he was very active.

Joel was preceded in death by wife, Doris Fish in 2022 and brother, Olin Fish.

Survivors include his children, Alan Fish and Andy Fish and wife, Sandy; brother, Larry Fish; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Lynice Broyles and Wanda Copas; special friends, Becky Cross, Pam Johnson and David Mongold.

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 6:30pm at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:00am at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Military Honors by The American Legion Posts 3/265.
