John "Butch" Austin
John "Butch" Austin, Jr., 59, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Saturday April 24, 2010 at Indian Path Hospital.
Although he lived a simple life, John taught by his actions, Christ's love.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Fleming Austin.
Surviving are his mother, Marjorie Sluss Austin; three sisters, Shirley Hobbs and husband, Earl, Debbie Ott and husband, Mike, and Donna Moyers and husband, Jerry; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday May 3rd, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be at 7:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 4th, 2010 at Temple Hill Cemetery in Castlewood, VA.
