Jon Quentin Horton

Jon Quentin Horton, 60, of Mount Carmel, passed away peacefully Thursday January 8, 2026, just before dawn, surrounded by family and love in his home. Quentin was born on September 7, 1965. While he was a man of many talents, he was most proud of his musical accomplishments. Quentin led the worship team at Harvest Community Church for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, James William Horton; and sister, Gina Begley.

Quentin is survived by his mother, Peggy Hackney; wife of 38 years, Kelly Harrington Horton; daughter, Lily Fluce (John); son, Dylan Horton; and grandchildren, Sophia and Clark.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Harvest Community Church of Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Bud Beverly officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Weaver Cemetery in Bristol, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Lily Fluce, Dylan Horton, John Fluce, Matt Smile, Scotty Melton, Dylan Forbes, and Justin Crider.
