Jonathan L. Burbank

Jonathan Burbank of Kingsport, TN, passed away at his home on August 7, 2026. He is survived by his mother, Catherine McGlasson of Kingsport, as well as his aunts and uncle, Teresa McGlasson of Lexington, KY and Ruth Casey (Kerry) of Frankfort, KY, and cousin Brian Casey (Tricia) of Frankfort, KY. He is preceded in death by his father, Peter Burbank of Altus, OK, by his step-father, Holman Todd of Richmond KY, and by his grandparents, Alvin and Mary McGlasson of Richmond, KY and James and Phyllis Burbank of Altus, OK.

Born in Lexington, Ky, Jonathan attended Community Montessori, then Model Laboratory School, and Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. He worked as a math tutor, locksmith, and most recently as a flexographic printer. His joys in life were teaching, spending time with family and friends, and caring for his rescue cats.

A service for burial at the Richmond (KY) Cemetery will take place at 11:00 am on October 31.
