Joseph W. Peavler
Joseph ?Joe? W. Peavler, 46, of Kingsport passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Kingsport, he graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended East Tennessee State University.
Joe was a loving husband and a doting and devoted father.
His father, Dewey E. Peavler preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Ruth Peavler; daughter, Annabel Lee Peavler; son, Jacob Ryan Peavler; stepdaughter, Alyssa Marie Ison; mother, Virginia Nottingham Peavler; one sister, Cynthia Lou Pickett and husband, Ernie; three sisters-in-law, Karen Reid and husband, Danny, Melanie Pritchard and husband, Danny, Jerri Hilton and husband, John; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with The Rev. Jack P. Weikel and Pastor Mike Brown officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Shupe Cemetery in Duffield, VA. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
