Joyce M. Morrison

Joyce M. Morrison, 80, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 4, 2015. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Fall Branch and was a member of Oak Glen Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James E. Morrison; two infant twin sons; parents, Preston and Oliva Baxter; brother, Howard R. Baxter; and three sisters, Elvie Baxter, Lavada Baxter and Sherry Cutshaw.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Starlett Joyner and husband, Steve; three grandchildren, Brad Joyner and wife, Rachel, Candace Sturgill and Andrea Joyner; great-grandson, Ayden Sturgill; sister, Shelby Cox and husband, Cletis; brother, Chad Baxter and wife, Carla; special niece, Tammy Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Carl Strickler and Dr. Lester Morelock officiating.

The graveside service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at Oak Glen Union Cemetery.
