Karen Marie Goforth

Karen Marie Goforth, age 54, of Blountville, passed away on August 9, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Thompson, and her brother, Jesse Thompson. 

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Travis Goforth; her children, Jenna Thompson, Jeremy Thompson, and Justin Goforth; her cherished grandchildren, Eden Phillips, Zane Thompson, Rosalee Krusiewig, and Everlee Krusiewig; and her mother, Dianna Thompson.

Karen will be remembered most for her unwavering devotion to her family, her deep love for her children and grandchildren, and the remarkable strength she carried throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her most.

Family and friends will gather to honor Karen’s life on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home in Blountville. A service will follow at 1:00pm with Pastor Adam Sells officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Sermon On The Mount. 

 Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home, and the family has established a GoFundMe for those who wish to contribute in her memory.
