Karen L. Simpson Roberts

Karen L. Simpson Roberts, 53, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018, following a period of declining health with her heart. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Rachel Simpson; infant sister, and two brothers, Steve and Danny Simpson.
Karen is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ronnie Roberts; son, Ronnie Heath Roberts; stepson, Adam Roberts and wife Jessie; six grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson; twin sister, Sharon Gaddy; sister, Brenda Hughes and husband Bill; brother, Randy Simpson; two special aunts, Gifty Kite and Ruth Simpson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow with Brother Bob Simpson officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018, at McPheeters Bend Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
