Kathryn "Kitty" Smith

Kathryn C. "Kitty" Smith passed away on Saturday May 25, 2024 after a long illness. Over her 79 years she effectively reared three sons, was a great partner for her husband Tom, and made lasting friends across all boundaries. Throughout her young life in east Texas, Kitty built a thriving and successful family based on love and sound principles. Transitioning to Tennessee with an empty nest, Kitty began her next phase of adventure as a business partner, a competitive duplicate bridge player, and world traveler. She remained active in the retirement years with competitive bridge, travels, family, and philanthropy. 

Kitty is survived by her husband, Tom; sons, Kevin, Tim, and Dan; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

Her legacy lives on.
