Kathy Holden Mitchell

Kathy Holden Mitchell, age 72, of Kingsport, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Kathy was a graduate of Sullivan High School. She worked in healthcare for many years.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Mitchell; son, Dustin Mitchell; and parents, Odell and Jean Holden.

She is survived by her son, Shannon Mitchell and wife, Lorie; grandson, Austin Mitchell; sisters, Sandra Holden Light and husband, Rick, and Lisa Holden Ball and husband, Gary; brothers, Steve Holden, Danny Holden and wife, Becky, Johnny Holden and partner, Helen Gibson, Larry Holden and partner, Cindy Rollins, and Garry Holden; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Kathy will take place at a later date.
