Kenny Martin

Time to die: William Kenneth “Kenny” Martin, 71, of Church Hill, departed this 
                      life on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center. 

Time to plant: He retired from Holston Defense as a certified electrician.  

Time to laugh: Kenny had a great sense of humor; he shared his big heart                                  with everyone.  

Time to dance: He enjoyed life with such a laidback quality of life with ease. 

Born to Willie and Helen Martin, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Eleanor Martin; brother, Hal (Tony) Martin; daughter, Kourtney Baker (Raymond); son, Kelvin Martin; great-grandchildren, Bella, Eason, Eden and Kori, Katelyn Shaffer Crain and Brent Shaffer; stepdaughters, Alana Denise Leeper of Church Hill, TN and Angela Annette Waller of Dallas, TX; and two special friends, Tosha and Kris Cantu. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:30 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 2:30pm. Graveside services will take place after the funeral service at Gunnings Cemetery, Blountville, TN with Pastor Garner Starnes officiating and Zeola and James Leeper speaking.  

Pallbearers will be Randy Leeper, Bruce Waller, Kris Cantu, Jason and Tony Martin.
