Kermit "Pete" Miller

Kermit "Pete" Miller, 56, Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Washington County and a 1979 graduate of Daniel Boone High School. Pete was retired from the Washington Co. Board of Education. He was a member of Gregg's Chapel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Littleton and Pauline Miller; sister, Vanessa Miller; and brother, Billy Littleton.

Pete is survived by his son, Steve Miller; four grandchildren, Steven, Kaiven, Kamdyn and Savannah Miller; four sisters, Etta Wilson, Elsie Whitaker and husband, Roy, Judy Taylor and husband, Terry, and Lorraine Cox and fiancé, Ronnie Lane; two brothers, Ernie Littleton and fiancée, Laura Toth, and Sam Miller and wife, Trish; special friends, Brenda Shipley and Bill Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Charlie Byrd and Pastor Eddie McAmis officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Bacon-Kincheloe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
