Keytin Tyler Cook, 16, of Sullivan Gardens, was tragically taken from us on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, while enjoying a day with his friends. Keytin was born and raised in Kingsport. He was getting ready to start his Junior year at West Ridge High School, where he played football and aspired to be a welder. Keytin had a very unique personality and sense of humor, which was hard to forget. He loved the outdoors and working on cars but loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. Keytin will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson and friend.
Keytin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tina Reece.
Survivors include his mom, Toni Vance; father, Clint Reece; aunt and uncle, Joe and Kimbra Barrett; sisters, Jayden Vance, Caitlyn Reece, Kristin Reece, Caden Barrett and Tapanga Osborne; brothers, Seth Reece, Alden Reece, Riley Kettinger and Daniel Barrett; grandmother, Nikki Ray; beloved mamaw, Connie; mamaw, Pam; grandfather, Donnie Cook; niece, Amara; nephews, Brendon and Rhett; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
A graveside service will follow at Walker’s Fork Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Riley Kettinger, Daniel Barrett, Cody Porter, Joe Barrett, Jaden Harvey, Shawn White. Special pallbearers will be Alden Reece and Seth Reece.
