Leanna Blevins

Leanna Blevins, 52, of Kingsport, passed away suddenly, but woke up in the presence of the Lord. Leanna was born and raised in Kingsport. She earned a degree in Elementary Education and went on to serve as the director of Sylvan Learning for 25+ years. She had a true passion and love for helping kids grow and mature. Leanna began teaching Sunday School as a teenager. She was saved at the age of 4 and since that time has dedicated her life to serving Christ. She was a member of Oak Glen Baptist Church in Yuma. Leanna loved to sing and loved the choir. She was such a blessing to her whole family and loved her brother Jason dearly. Leanna will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Preceding her in death are her sister, Rebecca Ann and all of her grandparents.

Left to cherish her memory is her parents, Tom and Janet “Priss” Blevins and her brother, Jason Blevins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Oak Glen Baptist Church in Yuma, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Danny Sykes officiating.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to their friends and loved ones for their love, support and prayers during this time.

The family would also like to thank Preacher Danny and sister Pat Sykes for their dedication and love for the family.
