Linda Sue Cleek

Sue’s long battle with dementia after thirteen years is over. Sue was born and lived in Kingsport, graduating from Dobyns-Bennett. She was a teaching assistant at Sullivan Elementary for 21 years and enjoyed tending to her flowers and going to the beach with friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, Elwood Morrell; mother, Goldie Morrell; daughter, Dawn Cleek; brothers, Larry and Doug Morrell; sister, Becky Gillis.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Danny Cleek; son, Andy Cleek; grandson, Cooper Cleek; sister, Amy Hubbard; brother, John Morrell; and several nieces and nephews.

Sue’s wish was to be cremated, and there will be no services.
