Lois Hite
Lois Hite, 86, of Kingsport passed away Friday, January 30, 2009.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family while having a passion and love for all children--especially her own child, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Tip Hite; her parents, Bill and Cora Lee Masoner; a sister, Ruth; and a brother, Ralph.
Surviving are her daughter, Paulette H. Thompson of Kingsport; two grandchildren, Lisa Horne and husband Mike of Kingsport, Teresa Strickler and husband Kelly Wayne of Kingsport; three great grandchildren, Madison and Katie Horne, and Taylor Strickler; one sister, Pauline Price of Kingsport; a niece, Huleen Miller and her son Christopher; and other special family, friends, and neighbors.
A graveside inurnment service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday February 2, 2009 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Richard Fifield officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Horne and Kelly Wayne Strickler.
