Mae Arnold

Mae Arnold, 85, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 5, 2023.  Born in Kingsport, she had lived in this area most of her life.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Granville and Claudia Carver; and sisters, Ruth Perry, Peggy Northern, Maxie Carver, Louise Penley, Lois King and Faye Light.

Mae is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Paul Arnold; daughter, Rita Wills and husband, Donnie; sons, Bill Arnold, Tommy Arnold, Rodney Arnold and Granville Arnold; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Blaine Carver and wife, Judy; sister, Shirley Neeley and husband, Pat; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Mike Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Holston View Cemetery.  Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
