Mark Anthony Phelps

Mark Anthony Phelps, 63, of Kingsport, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Born and raised in Kingsport, Mark graduated from Sullivan Central High School in 1980. He married his loving wife Brenda in 2006 and was happily married for 20 years. Mark loved to ride the woods and street riding and especially loved spending time with good friends and his animals; specifically his dog, Ryder. He was a simple man.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Emma and Jack Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Phelps; two half-brothers; and several cousins.
