Mary Davenport

Mary Davenport, 92, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center.  She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School.  Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Davenport, and parents, Sam and Maggie Ketron.

Mary is survived by daughters, Amy Shelton and Lisa Wilder; grandchildren, Sabrina Fields and wife, Amanda, Paul Surcey, and Samuel Wilder and fiancée, Kaira Howell; and great-grandchildren, Trinity Deal, Bryson Fields and Emma Fields.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Oak Hill Memorial Park.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
