Mary Kate Kaywood

Mary Kate Kaywood, 75, Kingsport, passed away early Sunday morning, December 17, 2023, at Holston Valley Medical Center.  Born in Hilton, she grew up in Dungannon, moved to Yuma for a brief period and settled in Kingsport for the remainder of her life.  Her favorite thing was going to Restoration Church.  Mary was very artistic and loved to quilt, and paint and read her bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Potts; son, Robert Lee Kaywood; and several brothers and sisters.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Nancy Perry and Sally Hunley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Kyle and Lester Potts; special niece, Christine Brinkley; special nephew, Michael Perry; and many others.

There will be no services.
