Mary Ruth Salley

Mary R. Salley, 96, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on September 20th 2026.

She was a devoted Christian, loving mother and grandmother who will be missed so much.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac McGaha and Georgia Ball, husband, Charles Salley, sons, Gary and Leon Salley, daughter in law, Matti Salley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Hal Salley and wife Barbara, JoAnn Muscleman and husband Larry, Vicky Higgenbottom and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Amy, Shawn, Travis, Kristi, Matt, Kwan; great grandchildren, Dalton, Gage, Alex, Kealey, Kasey and great granddaughter, Mila.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Friday September 25th, 2026 at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville with Pastor J.E. Mauk officiating.

Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Wexford House for taking such wonderful care of our Mother; especially Tammy Wilhoit who is a great Nurse Practitioner.
