Mary Ida Sweet
Mary Ida Sweet, 81, of Kingsport, TN died peacefully in her residence on August 23, 2010.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Marie Baxter and husband David; son, Charles Glen Sweet and wife Veronica; granddaughter, Candice Leigh Sweet; and grandsons, Jeffrey David Baxter and Christopher Charles Sweet.
The family is honoring Mary's wishes to be cremated and that there be no formal services.
A gathering in her honor will be celebrated at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Humane Society of the United States; www.humanesociety.org/donate. Making donations in her name to the Humane Society would make her smile.
