In loving memory

Today we celebrate the life of our beautiful mom, Marylu Pugh. The sacrifices she made for our family will live on forever in our hearts. We will always remember her genuine love of life, fun personality, and her heart for all. Everyone who knew her, felt like a friend. Mom loved life, cared for animals, was creative, and always made you laugh.

We know through her faith that our mother is in heaven with Jesus. She will be deeply missed, but we know we will see her again one day in heaven. May you celebrate your new life in the arms of Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph H. Coleman and Mary Josephine Still Coleman; husband, Donald E. Pugh, Sr.; sister, Judy Gorman.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Ruth and Craig; sons, Donnie Pugh and Stacey, and Joey Pugh and Rachel; six grandchildren, Lauren, Blake, Nora, Josie, Clara and Beatrice; sister, Susan Coleman; brothers-in-law, Richard Pugh and Bill Gorman; sister-in-law, Irma Pugh; and several nieces, nephews,  cousins; and special friend, Pam Ward.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Hayward Paul officiating. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
