Michael Glenn Fillnow

Michael Glenn Fillnow left this earth on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 3:51am. Born in Milwaukee, WI on May 12, 1949, Michael lived the past 32 years in Kingsport. He retired from Virginia Highlands Community College.  

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Margaret Fillnow; brother, Mark Fillnow; father-in-law, Jack Pippin; and mother-in-law, Betty Pippin. 

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he leaves behind his wife, Valecia Fillnow; his daughters, Megan (Brandon) Tipton and Linzi Hatley; son, Jack (Melinda) Brock; and grandsons, Branson Hatley, Cole Tipton, Owen and Luke Brock; and brother Steven Fillnow. 

Michael requested to be cremated and did not desire a funeral service.
