Michael Wayne Watson

Michael Wayne Watson, 56, of Kingsport, was called home Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. Mike was born in Washington County and was a 1984 graduate of Sullivan South High School. He then attended Memphis State University. Mike was a master carpenter in commercial and home builders. He was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Watson; children, Jacob Watson, Gabe Watson and Katie Watson; parents, Wayne and Barbara Watson; sisters, Mary Jane Clubb and Bill, Cathy Greear and David; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Monday, November 14, 2022 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Heights United Methodist Church. A celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Brown officiating.
