Mickey Parker

Mickey Cleveland Parker, 66, of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2025. He passed peacefully with his loving wife of 44 years by his side.

Mickey was a simple man, who loved God and his family. He was extremely hardworking, and self-taught in so many areas. Mickey was charming, he was always trying to evoke a laugh. Mickey never met a stranger. He was outgoing and blessed with many friends. Mickey had a straightforward and honest nature which made him easy to talk to. Mickey was very compassionate and was always willing to help someone in need. His character was unwavering, and he held strong in his beliefs. Mickey had many passions. He loved playing golf, fishing, and farming. He was exceptionally devoted to his family. He will be deeply missed.

Mickey is survived by his wife Lisa Ramey Parker, son Dustin Parker, daughter Sarah Parker, and granddaughters Alexia Parker and Ailith Parker, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Delma Parker and Velma "Jean" Parker, sister Sandra Kay Parker Watts, and Ricky Lee Parker.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Aaron Price officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrison UMC Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kevin Melita, Danny Hammons, Michael Sivert, Mike Steffey, Mike Ford, and Chris Coakley. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Rhoton, Tim Parker, Gary Parker, and Jerry Parker.
