Mildred Compton Hartsock, 81, of Kingsport went to her Heavenly Home Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Hartsock was a school teacher prier to her marriage to James and was a salesperson with Nettie Lee for twenty-two years. Mildred was a loving wife, dedicated mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister-in-law.
Preceding her in death were her father, mother, two sisters, and a niece.
She is survived by her husband, James Ralph Hartsock of Kingsport; two daughters, Shelia Davis and husband Tommy of Kingsport, Sharon Lane and husband David of Blountville; one son, Rodney Deihl Hartsock of Nickelsville; seven grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Skeens Family Cemetery, Nickelsville VA with Rev. Guy Hartsock and Rev. Rodney Hartsock officiating.
