Minnie Nelms Bralley, of Church Hill, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday January 28, 2007.
She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Mrs. Bralley had been employed by Church Hill Life Care and Indian Path Medical Center Pavilion as a CNA.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ralph and Helen Nelms; and one brother, James Nelms.
She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Douglas Bralley; sisters, Mrs. Johnny Evelyn Redwine, Gray, Nancy E. Nelms, Kingsport, Mrs. Lloyd Patsy Clark, Kingsport, and Mae Nelms, Wise, VA; brothers, John Nelms and wife, Sherry, Kingsport, Ron Nelms, Kingsport, Wayne Nelms and wife, Audrey, Limestone, TN, Robert Drew Nelms, Kingsport, and Ralph David Nelms, Jr., Kingsport; mother-in-law, Ruby Roberts; seven nieces; five nephews; one great-niece; and two great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport or anytime at the home of her sister, Patsy Clark, at 1748 Charles Street in Kingsport.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Freedom Independent Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh and Pastor Terry Mellons officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Elijah Walsh, Dakotah Walsh, Jason Bralley, Donnie Nelms, Sam Clark, Jonathan Sams, Trevor Morelock, and Bobby Hall. Her brothers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedar View Christian School, P. O. Box 143, Kingsport, TN 37662 or to the charity of one?s choice in Minnie?s name.
