Patricia Ann "Gigi" Campbell Galloway

Patricia Ann “Gigi” Campbell Galloway, 84, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, surrounded by family. Patricia was born on January 21, 1942 to the late Samuel and Berta Smith Campbell. Patricia was a graduate of Ketron High School, class of 1960. She married the love of her life, Carl Galloway, in April 1961. Patricia held positions as a secretary for Mason Dixon Truck Lines, Strahan Ink and Lacquer and Fingerhut, over the years. She was a member of Kingsport First Assembly of God where she sang in the choir and worked in the nursery until she was unable. Patricia loved singing in the trio with her sister, Gaynell Smith, and friend, Linda Brandon. They were even invited to sing on a gospel cruise. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Carl Galloway; daughter, Leta Rochelle Galloway Moore; brothers, Kamaill Campbell, Sam Campbell Jr. (Boone), Kenneth Campbell, Jack Campbell; and sister, Leta Marshall.

Survivors include her daughter, Mindy Galloway Davis; sister, Gaynell Smith; granddaughter, Jordan (John) Adams; great-grandchildren, Quincy and Lainee; a special niece, Mary Ann Goins along with several other nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Jackie Campbell; son-in-law, Brent Davis.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Patricia’s original caregivers, Joan Boardman and Sara Hawkins. To the staff of American House, the family would like to thank you for all of the love and attention that was provided to her for the last two years. You loved her, just as we did and were truly a blessing.

The family will receive friends, Friday, May 29, 2026 at Kingsport First Assembly of God Church from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl Kelleher officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville.

Pallbearers will be Quincy Adams, John Adams, Brent Davis, Shane Goins, Chandler Goins and Gary Marshall.
